HOT COUGAR ACTION: The Latest Baseball Bracketology

New, 20 comments

Every week, Perfectgame.org does a college baseball bracketology. Last week, WSU fresh off a 2-1 series win at No. 5 Oregon, was listed in the "next 10" section. This week, WSU fresh off a 1-2 series loss at home to ASU, is projected at as 3-seed and one of the last five teams in the tournament.

That likely has more to do with teams above them falling then it does with the Cougars performance against the Sun Devils, but I'll take it. If you notice, California is also listed as one of the last five teams in the tournament setting up a huge three game series this weekend in Pullman. If WSU can win at least two games against the Bears they may solidify their spot in the tournament.

Beyond baseball, here is your daily reminder and link to vote in the College GameDay contest.
