HOT COUGAR ACTION: Who Is Your Favorite WSU Athlete?

Today's morning post is inspired by Kyle's recent FanPost, but instead of focusing on the athletes you don't like, I'm curious as to who you do like. Specifically, who is your favorite Coug of all-time?

When I thought of this question, I tried to think of who most would choose. There are the usual suspects, the Cougar legends, and there are plenty of fan favorites. Jason Gesser will be probably be one of the most popular selections.

It didn't take me long to settle on my selection of Kyle Weaver. Weaver and I arrived at WSU at the same time, so I was lucky enough to see most of his WSU career first hand. He was always my favorite player to watch on those NCAA Tournament teams which were full of likable fan favorites.

I remember listening to the NBA Draft in the car waiting to hear Weaver's name. I think I was somewhere in Minnesota when he finally got picked. After he got traded to Oklahoma City, I would manage to stomach through the games just to see if Weaver got any action. I even streamed a couple of D-League games when Weaver was in the league.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a few others choose Weaver as well.
