WSU Honoring The Past With YouTube Videos

New, 20 comments

When Bill Moos took over as athletic director, he instilled the motto to honor the past, live the present, create the future. With the arrival of Mike Leach and the new Martin Stadium construction, I think it's safe to say he's done a pretty good job of executing the live the present and create the future parts.

Recently, WSU began honoring the past with YouTube videos from great moments in Cougar athletics history. They seem to be posting one video a week and the first three are awesome.

Even three years later, that Rochestie shot still gives me goosebumps. He didn't have a great shooting night that night, just 2-of-11, but few will forget one of the two shots he made. That game is one of a few I didn't attend where I can still remember every detail of where I was. You can watch an extended version, complete with Coldplay soundtrack, here.
