Edit: Now with working video!

The more things change, the more they stay they same. Aron Baynes, WSU Class of 2009, put up a very "Aron Baynes at Wazzu" performance with an efficient ten points on 4-6 shooting and five rebounds. Australia outscored Brazil by 5 points in Baynes' fifteen minutes on the court, giving him an effective Roland Rating of +14. Coupling the good with the frustrating, Baynes' four turnovers and four fouls were also reminiscent of his days in Pullman.

For those who didn't get up (or stay up) until 3:30 last night, here is video of Aron's six shots.

Something that won't show up in the box score, but get wistful and watch Aron clear space for an easy dunk for Brad Newley.

And also, please enjoy Aron commit an obvious foul and then complain to the ref about it for the next 30 seconds. Memories!

The loss to Brazil puts Australia at 0-1 in Group B round-robin play. Australia next plays Spain at 3:15 AM Tuesday morning PST on NBC Sports.
