Come 'Hangout' With The CougCenter Crew Tonight

Tonight at 8 p.m. PDT, a handful of the authors at CougCenter are going to get together to try something new -- we're going to live stream a Google+ Hangout. If you're unfamiliar with the concept, it's basically like a group video chat.

The big thing is that we want to make it interactive, so we'll be embedding the live broadcast on the site tonight and you can leave thoughts, questions and discussion ideas in the comments of the post. We figure we'll talk about football and recruiting, but we're certainly open to whatever.

We're not sure exactly how it's going to work, and we're anticipating that there will be some kinks that we'll have to work through as we go, but we're going to give it a run because it looks like it could be really cool ongoing feature. The post will hit the site at 7:30 p.m., and we're planning on beginning the live broadcast 30 minutes later.

If you can't make it for the live broadcast, no worries -- it'll be recorded and automatically uploaded for viewing later. And if you want to see what this actually looks like, here's one the New York Times did last week on a topic you might have heard something about.
