We've passed this around Twitter and Facebook, but I want to make sure everyone sees it. This is why I'm proud of my alma mater and its leadership. It's why I'm proud of Elson Floyd. And it's a gesture that should make everyone proud to be a Washington State alum.
One of the flags in front of Lewis Alumni Center is at half-mast in honor of Kathi Goertzen. Not the American Flag or the flag of the state of Washington, though. No, flying the flag Dr. Floyd did lower in honor of Kathi makes a whole lot of sense.
