WSU Vs. BYU Football: Preview, Game Time, TV Schedule, Odds, And More

Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars open the 2012 season against Bronco Mendenhall and the BYU Cougars Thursday night at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, UT. The game marks the return to the sidelines for Leach, who hasn't coached a football game since 2009.

WSU fans are excited to see All-American candidate Marquess Wilson and senior quarterback Jeff Tuel work in the Air Raid offense. While Leach was at Texas Tech, he set a number of NCAA records in the passing game with his uptempo attack.

BYU brings an experienced squad that finished with a 10-3 record in 2011. QB Riley Nelson finally has the starting job all to himself after splitting time with Jake Heaps a season ago. Nelson's favorite target will be WR Cody Hoffman.
