HOT COUGAR ACTION: Fall Camp Day 6 Recap

You can find Brian's detailed recap of day five of fall camp here, but we'll also run through a cliff notes version below.

Injury Report:

Take it away Christian Caple:

OL Rico Forbes, CB Nolan Washington, LB Corey Laufasa (who was wearing a walking boot), LB Tana Pritchard, DL Austin Brown and DL Destiny Vaeao all appeared limited. OL Niu Sale left the field with an apparent injury, as well.

Play Of The Day:

Brian described this one in his recap.

The play of the day -- or the loudest play of the day -- went to Tracy Clark. On a swing pass to Rickey Galvin, Clark blew up a receiver and Galvin at the same time in the backfield -- the former of which was trying to block him. It made one hell of a sound, followed by a lot of "oooooohs"

But we can do better than that, here is a GIF of the play as well (click to animate).

Quotable:

"I haven't seen it so I'm not vouching for that at all." -- Mike Leach on the depth chart WSU release for media day.

Interesting Note:

When WSU signed multiple highly touted wide receivers in February, Brett Bartolone was a bit of a forgotten man. With Robert Lewis grayshirting and Alex Jackson now playing defense, Bartolone has emerged as someone who could be in the mix this season. Just another reason it's so hard to project incoming freshman until they actually put the pads on.

Tomorrow's Schedule:

Another day, another practice at 2:45 p.m. PT.
