We've heard it plenty of times this week, but Colorado is not a very good team. A few have compared them to the 2008 Cougars and that comparison is apt in the sense Colorado doesn't score much (107th in PPG) and they give up a lot of points (115th in PPGA).
CougCenterers saw the Colorado struggles coming long ago as 88 percent picked WSU to win during the preseason predictions. That is a telling stat when you consider only 71 percent picked WSU to beat UNLV.
Colorado Profile:
2012 record: 0-3
2012 S&P ratings: 165.8 (WSU: 179.6)
2012 Phil Steele power rating: 113 (WSU: 124)
2012 road record: 0-1
Preseason prediction: WSU (88 percent), Colorado (12 percent)
Last week: Lost 69-14 to Fresno State
All-time record vs. WSU: 4-3

The Homerism is strong with this poll

I am not sure that it is homerism
The ONLY weapon that made me think this game might be close tore his ACL. Both of Colorado's lines, their secondary, their QB, and now receiving corps are all suspect to me. Also, in week 4, there may be MORE injuries to their squad.
I would say that turned out to be an accurate assessment.
