Week 4 of the college football schedule is here, and conference play starts to heat up this week. The Pac-12 features five games, and there are many other intriguing games nationally.

Maryland and West Virginia are the prelude to the Cougars and Buffaloes on FX, starting at 9 a.m. PT on Saturday morning. Dana Holgersen's modified Air Raid attack is always a good watch. Also, props to FX for giving that extra half-hour buffer between the games. Well done.

While you are waiting for the Cougars to start at 1 p.m., check out Oregon State traveling to UCLA at noon on either ABC or ESPN2, depending where you live. The Beavers have played just once this season, a win over Wisconsin that is looking less impressive the more the Badgers play. UCLA has rolled through their first three games, including an upset of Nebraska.

The most intriguing match-ups nationally come in the late slate of games. For West Coast fans, Arizona tries to stun the Oregon Ducks in Eugene at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Be sure to check out Spencer Hall's rootability index, and let Andy Hutchins tell you what you should be watching today.
