The latest edition of the SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25 college football rankings is here, and Alabama's hold on the top spot is finally loosening. After receiving all but one first-place vote last week, there were six teams that received votes for the top spot in this iteration.
Jeremy Mauss at Mountain West Connection joined me in voting for the Oregon Ducks at the top spot. Florida, Florida State, Stanford, Notre Dame, and Kansas State also received at least one first-place vote.
The biggest movers include Oklahoma, who dropped 11 spots after losing to Kansas State, and Rutgers, who climbed ten sports to make an appearance at No. 23.
Kansas State's win impressed a lot of people, as they jumped eight spots to No. 6.
There are four Pac-12 teams in the rankings, with Arizona and UCLA dropping out, and Oregon State making it in an No. 19 after taking down the Bruins on Saturday.
