There will be no television broadcast for Washington State's first round game of the College Cup -- the NCAA's soccer tournament -- against Illinois, but fans looking to watch the match are in luck: WSU will be streaming the match over its Pac-12.com channel.
The match starts at 1 p.m. Pacific Time at Lower Soccer Field in Pullman.
This is WSU's fifth NCAA tournament appearance in six years, but the first time since 2000 that WSU has hosted a match. The Cougs are 2-6-2 all time in the tournament and last won a match in 2011, beating Kentucky on penalty kicks. WSU was knocked out a year ago on penalty kicks by Portland.
However, WSU has been incredibly tough at home this year, outscoring opponents 17-6 and posting wins over then-No. 21 California and then-No. 6 Stanford to close out the season. The Cougars also are in the midst of a dominating run, having won five consecutive Pac-12 matches by a combined score of 10-1.
