Another Saturday of college football has arrived and at least WSU can't lose today.

WSU gamedays haven't exactly been a lot of fun in recent week's but a Saturday of college football still doesn't feel the same without the Cougars playing. Instead, you'll have to settle for the WSU flags flying on College GameDay and a host of other entertaining games.

If you're looking for some WSU related news, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott spoke to some media members before Thursday's game and offered some good news for those of you on the east coast and others who aren't fans of the late starts. Via the Seattle Times:

"I get a lot of feedback when I go to campuses," Scott told reporters in an informal press conference. "We'd like to see it adjusted a little bit. Based on the feedback I'm getting from campuses, they'd like to see fewer (night games)."

Back on the night of Sept. 7, it all looked so promising. Washington State had just shut down USC 10-7 to win its Pac-12 football opener, and the possibilities looked bright.

Scott explained that some of the reason for the increased night games is the new FoxSports1 channel, an arm of Fox Sports, which has taken an option to show more games at night.

The Sun Devils went up to Pullman and throttled the Washington State Cougars 55-21 in a dominating effort that improved ASU to 6-2 on the year and 4-1 in Pac-12 play.
