When Washington State plays Colorado Sate on Saturday, it will be the first meeting between the schools. Having played football for more than 100 years, it's not very often WSU plays a new opponent ... but it does happen.
Q1: When was the last time WSU faced an opponent for the first time? (Who was the team and when did it happen)
Q2: With expected attendance in the 30,000 range, the New Mexico Bowl won't set any records. What's the largest crowd WSU ever played in front of and who was the Cougars' opponent when it happened?
