Not very many words were written on the Internet yesterday, so there isn't much to link to. There is one thing though, a list of hypothetical gifts for college football coaches. Zac Ellis and Martin Rickman put a list together, including a gift idea for Mike Leach.
Mike Leach: Brand new quill and ink set, so he can get started on his next book.
I could easily imagine Leach writing using quill and ink. In fact, I would almost be surprised if he doesn't. That's a decent gift idea, but I'm sure we can come up with some others. In fact, I'm guessing the CougCenter community can come up with unique ideas for half the team ... you know if giving gifts to student athletes wasn't an NCAA violation.
So, if you had played secret Santa for a member of the WSU football program, what would you have given them?
If I had Connor Halliday, I would have given him a years supply of ice so he can make it through next season without having his arm falling off. Andrew Furney would have received a stocking full of Fergie CDs because the Furney Furn joke will never die.
