Oregon vs. WSU basketball: Game thread and TV schedule

The Cougs face the Ducks as they try to stop a five-game losing streak.

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks have made a surprising run to the to the top of the Pac-12 standings in 2012, but they've hit a bit of a rough patch recently. After starting the year 7-0, with wins over Arizona and UCLA, they lost three straight. A home game against Utah and a trip to Washington was just what the doctor ordered, and now they will look for their third-straight victory against the Washington State Cougars in Pullman. The team teams will meet at 4 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks.

The Cougars will likely be without Mike Ladd for again as he battles a knee issue. WSU seemed to miss their psuedo-point guard against Oregon State. They couldn't get much going on the interior. Luckily, they were able to knock down 14 of 28 from beyond the arc to supplement. Still, the guard's ability to work inside and grab rebounds was missed.

Ladd will likely be missed even more against Oregon, who is vastly superior to Oregon State in most areas. The Cougs were able to give the Ducks a run for their money in Eugene, but eventually succumbed to their typical second-half struggles.

Can the Cougars pull an upset at Friel Court? Did I just make you laugh? Join the discussion in the comments, and remember to leave out the illegal stream links.

Go Cougs!
