The basketball season has been nothing short of torturous. This week, we sit down with the man who has had a front row seat to it all, Christian Caple, who covers the Cougs for the Spokesman-Review and you can find his excellent blog on at the Spokesman's website. We'll talk about Cougar and Pac-12 basketball and we even work in a little conversation about spring football.
After that, we'll get to our Dunderhead of the Week. Finally, we get Ask Michael Anything. As a reminder, email your questions on any topic to cougcenterpodcast@gmail.com.

Mom's French Onion Soup Recipe:
In a deep sauce pan cook up about 5 slices of bacon. After bacon cooked, remove the bacon and add about a tablespoon of butter. Sauté 4 medium well chopped onions in the bacon drippings and butter. Cook onions till soft. Add 1clove garlic mashed, 2 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/3 teaspoon pepper. Cook till golden brown but not burned. Add 1/3 cup of finely chopped parsley, pinch of thyme, 2 cans chicken broth and 2 cans beef broth, and 1 cup white wine. Simmer for 45 minutes to one hour. Pour a serving of the soup into a bowl, cover with croutons or slice of French bread (these are optional), and cover with sliced jarlsberg cheese. Broil till cheese melted and just turning brown in spots.
