TEMPE -- Freshman Ryan Kellogg righted Arizona State baseball Saturday night. The 6-5 left-hander shut down Washington State, which a night before scored its most runs in a conference road game since 1996, in a 4-1 win before 3,198 at Packard Stadium. Coach Tim Esmay made some lineup changes after ASU’s nine-game unbeaten streak ended in a 15-4 loss Friday, but mostly it was the pitching and fielding of the poised Kellogg that gave the Sun Devils a chance to win their Pac-12 opening series.
