Hot Cougar Action: WSU NFL Draft watch begins

The NFL Draft begins tonight and while no WSU players will be picked in the first round, a couple players could hear their names called this weekend.

Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

Two WSU players have been drafted since 2009, but the Cougars have a chance to match or better that number over the next three days.

The Cougars won't have any players drafted in Thursday's first round, but Marquess Wilson, Jeff Tuel and Travis Long have a solid chance to get picked over the next three days. Michael Preston covered this in-depth on Wednesday when he was joined by Mike Luchene of NFL Rough Draft.

If you didn't have a chance to listen to the podcast yet, you can find it here. Hopefully those three, as well as some others make their way onto rosters over the next few days.
