Hot Cougar Action: Monday morning trivia

The NBA is a popular topic so we tap into the playoffs for the weekly trivia.

Although Sunday's Game 4 wasn't his best performance of the season, Klay Thompson is having an excellent playoff season. He isn't, however, the first former WSU basketball player to play well in the NBA playoffs.

Q: Name the six players from WSU in addition to Thompson to appear in a NBA playoff game since 1980. Bonus points if you can name the two who's playoff appearance predates 1980.

It will come down on May 30th following the Keller spring game. Sione, a 2014 defensive end, and Tristan, a 2015 offensive lineman, plan on attending the same school in college, limiting their choices to those schools that have extended offers to both prospects -- Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Washington State.

Mike Leach just completed his second spring practice coaching the Washington State football team. While progress was made, don't expect the Cougars to turn the corner yet.
