When the typical college football coach uses Twitter it's to announce an upcoming football camp, thank the fans, or make grunting sounds to celebrate a recruit. Mike Leach is not your typical college football coach.
If you follow Leach on Twitter you likely know he's a big movie buff. He's tweeted about movies he enjoys before, but he's now taking it to another level. Late Monday night, Leach Tweeted he'd come up with a list of 50 movies that "command attention."
I've come up with a list of 50 films, in no particular order, that command attention.

Day of The Jackal, The Sting, Where Eagles Dare, Citizen Kane, Animal House, Braveheart, Goodfellas, Raiders of The Lost Arc, Psycho, Patton

Leach decided against dumping the entire list at once, so you'll have to wait until Tuesday for the next 10.
10 more tomorrow.

Mike Leach is still the best.

Future power rankings reminder - Pac-12 Blog - ESPN
11. WSU- Pullman is not Texas, and the ready access to great Texas recruits in Lubbock will not be there in Washington. Leach is a good coach, he has a lot of wins to his name, but rebuilding Pullman is not really the task I would have put him in. I personally find it unlikely that the air-raid system will flourish at WSU, and see them continuing to be the pincushion of the North.

Football recruiting:
A pair of players with WSU offers committed elsewhere on Monday. Based purely on name, I'm devastated WSU didn't land Takitaki.

Defensive back from Oceanside picks the Arizona Wildcats - AG's Wildcat Report
The Cats added more than 10 commitments in June 2012, and they are up to six commitments this month with the addition Monday of defensive back Jace Whittaker from Oceanside (Calif.) High. He also held scholarship offers from Boise State, Nevada, San Diego State and Washington State. The recruiting services seem to still be catching up to Whittaker, who is unranked by Scout and Rivals.
