HCA: Monday morning trivia

Finally a 2012-13 trivia champion will be crowned.

Jasper Juinen

The 2012-13 edition of the Monday Morning Trivia Contest has extended well past the end of basketball season and with the calendar now turning to July, it seems like as good a place as any to finally crown a champion.

Usually I would give an announcement ahead of the finale so you all could read media guides and scour for facts, but SpectreFCO has had this thing wrapped up for weeks. He even attempted to pull a Pete Carroll and take a knee in the first half over the last month, but no one was able to challenge his lead.

So instead, he'll take home the championship as we put the MMTC on ice until September with two final questions.

Q1: Name the only player currently on WSU's roster to have led the team in passing yards, rushing yards or receiving yards over the course of a season.

Q2: Since the 1997-98 season, five WSU players have finished a season with a 90 percent free throw percentage or higher while attempting at least 10 free throws. Who are the five players?

2013 WSU Cougars: 10 things to watch For a team that has been marred in mediocrity for the better part of a decade -- and that's putting it kindly -- the 2013 WSU Cougars have something to prove.
