They call it the Battle of the Palouse, but is it really a rivalry?

During Monday's press conferences, Mike Leach and the WSU players were all asked if they thought the game with Idaho is a rivalry. Most of them shrugged off the question, saying they hadn't been at WSU long enough to know.

One of today's links is a story from Christian, which details the game and how it doesn't feel much like a rivalry, despite the proximity between the teams and the fancy name for the game.

When I was in school, the game against Idaho was ... the game against Idaho. Is the "Battle of the Palouse" a rivalry to you?
