Soon, my job will require me to work both Friday and Saturday nights, thus losing my ability to do anything on the weekend or watch Coug games. So this past weekend, we had a bunch of family over since it would be one of the last times it would be possible. Being the great in-laws that they are, rum and food was provided. I drank a lot of the rum.

I tried to watch the game amidst family bonding and games (not to mention drunk tweets), but I had to go back and rewatch the entire game. The only thing I really remember was, holy crap, Gabe Marks. Or, Gabe Mahks, whicheva you prefuh. Turns out, I was right.

Offensive POTW:

Gabe Marks -- 11 catches, 146 yards, 2 TDs, a lawt ahf Bawstan talk on twittah

Marks was simply phenomenal against Idaho, there's really no other way to say it. Idaho's secondary was no match for the man from Venice, and it's almost like I predicted he would have an awesome game or something. I don't know if I can refer to him as Gabe Marks anymore after he went off while I called him Gabe Mahks. I mean, I don't wanna jinx it, guys.

Defensive POTW:

Darryl Monroe -- 12 tackles (8 solo), 2.5 TFL, 1 sack

Here's your friendly reminder that Darryl Monroe is a sophomore. A SOPHOMORE.

Special Teams POTW:

Leon Brooks -- 4 punt returns, 59 yards, L51

Not gonna lie, it was slim pickin's this week. Leon's 51 yard return was pretty sick, and since nothing else really happened, you win, Leon! Woo!

Last week's prediction:

Gabe Marks, Deone Bucannon, Andrew Furney

1/3, but I was so right about Marks that it should count for 2.

Next week's prediction:

Gabe Mahks, Darryl Mahnrow, Mikey Bowlin
