It's the fourth year in a row the WSU women's soccer team has made it to the postseason. It's even more amazing when you consider they're on their third coach since the run started with Steve Nugent now at the helm. I interviewed Coach Nugent on the CougCenter Hour earlier this week and Jeff's spectacular piece on the this improbable run was up today.

No Nicole Setterland in the starting lineup, she looked to sustain a concussion against Washington in their season finale last Friday. We aren't sure if she'll play tonight or not. The Cougs and Redhawks did meet in an exhibition before the season with WSU getting the 2-1 win.

The Cougs have not advanced in their last two tournament appearances, losing to both Portland and Illinois on penalty kicks. They'll look to move onto to the second round for the first time since 2010 tonight.
