Must Reads
A running back at Northeast High School in Saint Petersburg, FL, Harrington is a consensus 3-star prospect and ranked as the No. 17 all-purpose back by 247Sports and No. 14 by Rivals. Harrington chose WSU over offers from Arizona, Boise State, Indiana and Iowa State among others.
The first thing you notice about Harrington is his top end speed and his elusiveness, even against top-level Florida competition, which makes him a perfect candidate to catch passes out of the slot. He’s also proven to be adaptable, playing five positions (including quarterback) last season.
Harrington is planning on enrolling at WSU early in June to be ready for fall camp and could earn playing time in 2014. In interviews, he has said he already has a great relationship with fellow commit Peyton Bender, also from Florida.
Look for Harrington to compete for time at the H receiver position this fall.
