What was a relatively loud and noisy coaching search ended with the suspected favorite all along. We always thought Ernie Kent was near the top of Bill Moos', as he called it, "legendary list", and it turns out he was at the very top. Kent has been out of the coaching since the end of the 2009-2010 season when he was dismissed from Oregon and he certainly seems hungry to get back into the game.

We'll try and interpret the mess that was the coaching search (at least publicly) from Friday to Monday afternoon and the eventual hiring of Kent. We'll also dig into what Kent's hiring means for the current WSU players on the roster and what kind of impact he could have right away. It's certainly WSU's most significant hire since Mike Leach and we'll find out what it all means.
