As of today, there are only 50 days until the Cougars take the field in Seattle against Rutgers. While it'd not really that big of a deal, it is a reason to start getting excited. We felt we should mark the day with something special. Later today Mark Sandritter will be back with his annual countdown to Cougar football looking at a new topic everyday until the season kicks off. Today, he poses the question: Who is WSU's best player.
While we celebrate the upcoming season by starting on a popular and round, yet arbitrary, number, WSUCougars.com celebrated the upcoming season yesterday, the 51st day before the season, for a slightly more meaningful reason. WSU scored 51 touchdowns last season and the sports video staff put together a slick video showing us every one of them.
The video can be seen at this link or by clicking play in the embedded video below. You can watch it all at once or watch one touchdown per day until kickoff (watching two on the day you're feeling most depressed).
