For the first time in the history of those "It's Duck Hunting Season" signs, it actually was duck hunting season.
The Cougars proved football was a game of inches on multiple occasions last Saturday in their 38-31 loss to the No. 2 Oregon Ducks. River Cracraft's toe in or out of bounds, a field goal attempt that clangs off the upright, all things that could've helped the game go the other way. Regardless, Washington State played the game on a level none of us really expected. We'll break it all down and tell you why it might be indicative of some real improvement.
Plus, WazzuWatch's Britton Ransford stops by to talk about the big recruiting weekend that was with multiple big recruits on campus for what many are saying was the best game atmosphere in a decade.
