Scout.com’s No.2 ranked JC kicker in the country Blake Levin will be enrolling at WSU this spring according to Cougfan.com. Levin nailed 9 of 10 field goals last year for Santa Barbara City College. He will come to the Cougars as a preferred walk-on to compete with Erik Powell and Matt Abramo. The Cheyenne, Wy. Native turned an walk-on offer from Oregon State to cast his lot with the Crimson and Gray. Here are some highlights.
In other recruiting news, WSU extended an offer to 2016 Salt Lake City defensive end Lyric Bartley according to Cougfan.com. The 6-foot-4 240 pound defensive end has been described by onlookers as very athletic. He also plays quarterback for Taylorsville high school. WSU is his first Pac-12 offer but he has offers from Nevada, Utah State, Vanderbilt, and Wyoming. In addition he has received high interest from Nebraska, Missouri and Utah. Rivals.com has him as three star recruit and one of the top 20 players in the state of Utah. Hopefully Big Joe can reel this rising prospect in. Here are some highlights.
One of 2017’s rising stars also received a Cougar offer in the past couple weeks. Las Vegas safety Bubba Bolden from legendary Bishop Gorman high school already has offers from ASU, Oklahoma State, Utah and now WSU. Check out the 6-foot-3 175 pounder’s highlights.
