Sun Bowl 2015: WSU arrives in El Paso to festive atmosphere

Washington State landed in El Paso for the Sun Bowl and a party ensued.

Earlier today the Washington State Cougars climbed aboard a chartered airplane and left the frozen confines of the Palouse en route to El Paso, Texas, where in five days they'll battle the Miami Hurricanes in the Hyundai Sun Bowl.

As the team, decked out in their fresh black bowl game sweat suits, stepped off the plane and entered the El Paso International Airport, they were immediately greeted by former Washington State head coach Mike Price, who serves on the Sun Bowl committee, and then serenaded by a local Mariachi band with some holiday cheer.

But, of course, it's not a party until Mike Leach dons a sombrero and attempts to sing in the middle of an airport.

Not to be outdone, cornerback Marcellus Pippins — never one to shy away from showing off his above average dance moves — took center stage as "Feliz Navidad" played in the background.

Awesome welcome to El Paso! Thanks @hyundaisunbowl committee! Pippins leads the way. #GoCougs
