Make it the second WSU verbal commit to change his mind about heading to the Palouse today. Three-star wide receiver Dahu Green from Moore, Oklahoma made the announcement on his Twitter this evening:
New home for the next 4 years #BOOM pic.twitter.com/x7QDH2czAL

Green's primary recruiter was receivers coach Dennis Simmons who, as we discussed earlier is in the running for a job at ... Oklahoma. Green received an offer from the Sooners not long ago but the possible hire of his primary recruiter at a school just minutes from his home could have pushed him down the road. Simmons was also the primary recruiter for four-star linebacker Kyahva Tezino who is now going elsewhere.
It's impossible to say whether Green and Tezino would've stuck with WSU all the way to LOI day on Wednesday but the timing of Simmons flirtation with Bob Stoops' squad couldn't be worse. Not only have the aforementioned player flipped, Deontay Burnett's status has been in question for a few days. His primary recruiter is, well, you could probably guess.
If a typical end of recruiting cycle is "Hold on to your butt" time for Washington State, this one might be a "Hold on to your butt and everyone else's."
