Tall and big are how Mike Leach likes his lineman and that's just what he's getting in Noah Myers. The lineman from the Bay Area faxed in his letter of intent this morning, officially making him a Coug.
As with most linemen, Myers will be spending his first year on campus stuffing his gullet and then converting all that pasta into muscle in the weight room. Especially with the group of linemen WSU has, if Myers sees the field, something has gone drastically wrong. That's not a knock on Myers by any means; most offensive linemen aren't ready for the college game the minute they step on campus and it's the position with the heaviest (pun intended) use of redshirts for most teams.
Myers is rated the 89th best offensive lineman in the state of California for this recruiting cycle. He spent his entire senior season committed to Washington State and also had offers from Weber State and Montana.
