Washington State had two free spots in its 2015 recruiting class after announcing its signing day class and the Cougars moved quickly to fill one of those spots. On Thursday, WSU announced it had signed CB Sean Harper.

Harper is somewhat off the recruiting radar and is only ranked by Rivals who has him as a 3-star prospect. He's listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds and could played both wide receiver and defensive back in high school. According to Britton Ransford, Harper said he will initially play corner at WSU. The Cougars went out of their typical recruiting areas for Harper who hails from Hartwell, Georgia. New defensive coordinator Alex Grinch played a big role here. Grinch recruited Georgia at Missouri and tapped into his contacts to help bring Harper to Pullman.

Despite not being rated by a couple of the recruiting services, Harper did pick up plenty of interest on the recruiting trail. He has reported offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, Nebraska and Louisville among others. Harper certainly looks the part in highlights. He's very smooth and doesn't even appear to be running hard while outracing everyone else on the field.

Here are his senior highlights:
