Monday morning trivia - recap edition

Time to announce a winner.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

No time to waste, let's get right to the trivia question of the week.

Q1: Which CougCenter community member ran away with the 2015 CougCenter Monday Morning Trivia Contest to claim the title for the third straight year?

That answer, course, would be PJ Kendall who Jordan Spieth'd the rest of you. PJ scored more than double the points of the next closest competitor and outscored the second and third place finishers combined. I'm fairly certain he could have stopped playing once basketball season started and still won comfortably. It's to the point where the oddsmakers won't even allow a line on who is going to win the 2016 CCMMTC and CougCenter league officials are now considering ways to PJ-proof the contest to give the rest of y'all a fighting chance.

PJ scored 26.8 percent of the possible points this year, finishing with 485 points. Solid efforts from CarolinaCoug and The Crimson Lance who finished second and third respectively. In an other era, they might have a championship by now. Instead, it's a solid showing while PJ gets his name on the Contest Champion wall once again.

In all seriousness, congrats to PJ for knowing way too much about WSU sports and thanks to everyone for playing. We'll be back in August to see if anyone can prevent the four-peat.
