WSU announces fall practice schedule

Cougar football's fall practice schedule was released Thursday, and there was some good news for fans looking for a glimpse of the team before Sept. 5. Practice begins Saturday Aug. 8 in Lewiston, and for the first couple weeks at least, will be open to the public.

The team will practice at Sacajawea Junior High in Lewiston until Aug. 16, when the team will return to the Palouse. All Lewiston practices will be open to both the public and media.

For three straight days, August 18-20 practices will be in Pullman, and open to the public. From that point forward all football practices will be held in Pullman will be closed to the public.

For any WSU fans in the area, going and watching a practice could be a highly enjoyable activity for someone jonesing for some football. Even if the football isn't that exciting, watching adult men yell profanities at players half their age is fun for the whole family!

Even if you miss the "open to public" practices but still want to watch, the walkway in front of the Cougar Football Complex provides a nice vantage point to take in some midweek football (the library does as well).
