It appears the WSU put their bye week to good use.
"Officially" we don't know why Dotson missed practice time and the Wyoming game (because, remember, this team is always 100%), but reports say it's due to concussion treatment.
No matter the reason for missing time, for the first time in 2 weeks, the nickelback took the practice field on Tuesday. He was a non-contact participant, but did suit up with the 1st team in scrimmage and is expected to join them on Saturday at Cal.
The return appears to be just in time, too. The defensive unit is going to need all the help they can get as they take the field against the Bear Raid offense. Sonny Dykes' newly ranked team is first in the Pac-12 and ninth in the nation in total offense, while star quarterback Jared Goff is also 9th in the nation in passing yards.
The Cougs have their work cut out for them, but if they can get a little more of this from Dotson... They should be fine.
