Sumner Senior High School Junior, Connor Wedington, announced on Monday evening that he had been offered by Washington State. The 5'11'' 183 lb running back / corner tweeted out about his 4th offer shortly before the Cougars landed a commit from 2016 defensive lineman Danny Bender.

Wedington racked up accolades this past year earning First Team All-State Running Back and Corner honors, First Team All-League Running Back and Corner honors, First Team All-Area Corner, and was MVP of the 3A South Puget Sound League.
He also finished the season with 2,366 all purpose yards, 1,713 rushing yards on 174 yards and averaged 9.8 yards per carry, 26 touchdowns, and also had 5 interceptions.
