WSU coach Mike Leach causing issues on Twitter for former NFL long snapper Mike Leach

A lot of Cougar fans love that Coach Leach speaks his mind.... And apparently, so does another famous Mike Leach.

Mike Leach is the head coach of the Washington State Cougars. Mike Leach is also the former long snapper for the Arizona Cardinals. Just because they have the same name, doesn't mean they're the same person.

This is a concept that seems to confuse trolls on Twitter.

See, our Mike Leach has said a lot of provocative stuff recently. A couple of weeks ago he flat out said that Arizona State was still stealing signs. This earned his some backlash from the Pac-12, Sun Devil fans, and even Todd Graham himself. Then, just Monday, Leach turned his attention to the Chicago Cubs:

Again, fans of the team in question, didn't take kindly to Leach's comments.

So  ASU and Chiacgo Cub fans decided to vent their frustrations, and they turned to Twitter. The only issue is... A lot of them directed their anger at the wrong Mike Leach.

@Coach_Leach is WSU's Mike Leach. @MikeLeach82 is not WSU's Mike Leach... But that doesn't mean he can't have some fun with people that think he is.

And then, of course, there was just one guy who didn't quite get what was going on.

Our Arizona Cardinals sister blog Revenge of the Birds has a couple more of Leach's responses here.

Regime change came quickly in the Pac-12, and it does not appear to be a one-year blip, either. It’s Week 9 and the Washington schools have yet to lose a conference game.
