No. 23 WSU vs. Cal Game Thread!

Let's talk about the Cougs going for eight wins in a row.

Welcome back my friends, to the start time that never ends. After a one-week respite, the Cougars will face the Cal Golden Bears under the lights at Martin Stadium. A win for WSU means a lot, as it will guarantee that an Apple Cup victory will clinch a spot in the Pac-12 championship game. I don't know about you, but that last sentence is one I never, in a million years, thought I'd be able to write after the second week of the season.

As we've covered a few times this week, Cal comes into this game half good. The offense is explosive, especially if Chad Hansen is fully healthy. The former Idaho State(!!!) recruit has stepped into the void left by several departed Cal receivers, but has been dinged up of late. While he probably won't be 100% tonight, he is still good enough to hurt the Cougar defense.

On an unrelated note, I don't want to alarm anyone, but WSU will be wearing these helmets tonight:

I mean, there's no way our quarterback can get hurt again. Nope, not a chance. That's what I'm telling myself anyway. The good part is that the Cal defense poses very little threat, and WSU's offensive line is one of the best in America. So gather round and talk about what will hopefully be WSU's march to a 7-0 Pac-12 record. Go Cougs
