We’ve known since much earlier this year that the Apple Cup would be at either 12 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. and broadcast on either Fox or FS1. The final details were ironed out today though with big Fox picking up the game for a 12:30 kickoff on Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving.

With the selection, WSU will spend their final two weeks of the season in the 12:30 p.m. window on Fox with their game this week at the No. 12 Colorado Buffaloes being tapped for the same time.

There’s plenty of intrigue surrounding the game so it’s easy to see why big Fox decided they wanted to air it. Besides it being two ranked teams (in all likelihood) in a rivalry matchup, this Apple Cup will determine who wins the Pac-12 North as long as Washington beats the ASU Sun Devils this weekend (if WSU does lose to Colorado, the result of UW vs. ASU doesn’t matter). So although UW’s position in the top-four of the CFP will likely be gone by then, there’s still plenty to play for.

This is important news for you if you don’t have tickets to the game because WSU has none left to sell you. Unless you’re a student, that is (and get your rumps to the game, kids. You’ll be home again for a month in 3 weeks anyhow).

UPDATE (4:40 p.m.): Okay, NOW it’s really sold out.
