Revisiting Minnesota football history as the Holiday Bowl approaches

Washington State and Minnesota will play in the 2016 Holiday Bowl. Since you are reading this on a website devoted to Washington State athletics, there is a pretty good chance you know a thing or two about WSU’s football history. But, there is also a good chance you know a little less about Minnesota’s football history.

I was going to take a deep dive into the Gopher record books for trivia this week, but after taking a closer look myself, let’s see how well everyone knows the surface level history of Minnesota.
