Taylor Taliulu may have played his final game as a Cougar back in December, but the Hawaiian senior has started to prepare for his life after college football as a hip-hop artist or producer. No, really.
The rapper known as "Tay Ali" appears to take what hopes to be his future career seriously. He dropped a mixtape back in September on Soundcloud, appeared with teammate Isaac Dotson on a Pac-12 network vignette profiling their love of music, and was recently announced as a performer at Springfest (alongside headliners Waka Flocka Flame and Destructo), an annual music festival hosted by WSU's Student Entertainment Board at the end of each April.
Today the Seattle Mariners released their 2016 commercials. In one commercial, third baseman Kyle Seager, known as a quiet, no-nonsense type of player, was rebranded as "K-Swag" by several executives of a non-mentioned company. When the idea is pitched, flashy lights shine all over the room and rap music plays in the background. Listen closely and it's Taylor Taliulu's voice and beats.

Well there you have it. Wherever Taliulu's music career takes him, being able to say he worked with the Mariners marketing team and helped create a commercial is certainly something to boast about on a resume.
