Spring football is right around the corner and the Cougars plan to pick up where they left off against Miami. This was not how it was supposed to go for Calvin Green. The speedy defensive back was arrested early Sunday morning after officers responded to a hit and run.

Officers were called to NE Kamiaken and Spaulding St. at 1:55 AM Sunday. According to a report by the Pullman Radio website, a woman saw Green hit her car before he allegedly took off in his car. The woman followed Green to an alley where she told officers that she had to jump out of the way to avoid his speeding car as he fled the alley.

The report states that Green was later stopped and arrested where he was charged with misdemeanor Hit and Run Unattended as well as Reckless Endangerment.
