The Washington State Cougars made waves in the recruiting world today when 2017 quarterback Connor Neville announced via Twitter that he has given his verbal commitment to Mike Leach.

Neville is a composite three-star recruit out of Wilsonville, Oregon, ranked the No. 17 pro style QB by 247Sports. Scout has him listed as a four-star recruit, and Rivals lists him as the 13th-best pro-style quarterback in the country.
The 6-2, 185 pound signal-caller put up some impressive junior season stats last year; competing 199-of-310 pass attempts for 3,074 yards and 37 TDs against 8 interceptions.
This first thing that pops is his pocket mobility. Neville is highly adept at positioning himself to make a throw, and is highly accurate even when his feet aren't quite underneath him. He also throws on the run exceptionally well, and has great touch on both his intermediate and deep throws.
Neville is in town this weekend, along with a huge list of other prospects, for Washington State's Junior Day event. He felt strongly enough about the Cougs to go Crimson this Saturday.
Congratulations to Connor, his family, and welcome to Wazzu!
Go Cougs!
