WSU's dynamic running back Keith Harrington was conspicuously absent from spring practices, and the assumption was that he was hurt in some way -- since WSU doesn't comment at all on injuries, there was no way for us to know for sure exactly what was going on.
Well, it appears that it was in fact some sort of injury, and it appears that the news is good in terms of Harrington's recovery:

The diminutive Harrington picked up 550 yards on 80 touches last season as WSU's third back, scoring five touchdowns. He was an important member of the backfield, a threat to house it at any time, particularly on screens:
There is some question as to how, exactly, the backfield carries are going to shake out with James Williams joining the mix, and Gerard Wicks and Jamal Morrow sure to still get plenty of carries. Still, it's a great problem to have, and it's unlikely all four stay healthy for the duration of the 2016 season, anyway.
Plus, how great is it to have a guy with this kind of attitude grinding for carries?
