Luke Falk is a top-5 quarterback heading into the 2017 NFL Draft

With the 2016 NFL Draft competed, many people can't help but look at next years draft.

Luke Falk helped lead Washington State to a 9-3 record last season and a Sun Bowl victory that secured the best record since 2003. Because of his success last season, many people are looking forward to seeing what Falk will do next season. Some even suggesting he decides to move on to the next level.

CBSSports.com released their top-10 quarterbacks that will be talked about the most before the 2017 NFL Draft, a list that includes Falk ranked #5.

Falk is in the middle of the pack behind Deshaun Watson, Brad Kaaya, Chad Kelly, and Seth Russell. Kelly is the only one of those four that is a Senior.

Kaaya and Falk faced eachother in the Sun Bowl where Falk finished with better numbers. Falk threw for 300 yards on 30/54 passing and a pair of touchdowns. Kaaya threw for 223 yards completing 18 of his 32 passes and threw a touchdown and an interception.

In a 2017 mock draft, thebiglead.com has Falk going in the first round to the Arizona Cardinals as the 31st pick overall. He is listed as the third quarterback taken off the board behind Watson and Kaaya who are both in the top-5.

Falk finished 5th in the nation in passing yards (4561 yards), led the nation is completions (447) and attempts (644), second in completion percentage (69.4), and was tied fourth in touchdown passes thrown (38) all while getting a game less than most other quarterbacks on those lists.
