The Cougars may have found their walk-on quarterback in Trey Tinsley

Washington State fans will have another quarterback to keep an eye on as it looks as if they snagged a walk-on in Trey Tinsley.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington State quarterback situation took a hit Monday night with the Peyton Bender news coming down, but the school could have landed another walk-on quarterback for the 2016 season. Trey Tinsley, a quarterback at Fullerton College, a Junior College in California.

Tinsley, a 6'3" 205 lb quarterback, threw for 2,182 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Fullerton College Hornets last season. He managed a 61.3% passing percentage on 185 of 302 pass attempts while throwing 6 interceptions as well.

Tinsley posted this tweet on Monday evening:

Which followed this tweet by Kaleb Fossum:

Tinsley and Fossum played football with each other at El Toro High School.

Joining true freshman Bryce Missey and second-year guy Christian Jorgensen as the walk-on quarterbacks. The three will join Luke Falk, Tyler Hilinksi, Anthony Gordon, and Justus Rodgers as quarterbacks on the roster. Rodgers is one guy that we could see move to another position as he is that versatile.

There has been nothing official from the University regarding Tinsley, but his Twitter bio says "Washington State commit" to go along with the two tweets.
