Pac-12 Coaches on the Hot Seat

Which coaches are already on the hot seat in the Pac-12?

James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The 2016 college football season is just two months away. We will be blessed with the return of ESPN College Gameday (Wake up Washington State, it’s Gameday?!), way too early Mel Kiper Jr. mock drafts, #Pac12AfterDark, and, of course, a season’s worth of glorious Mike Leach quotes.

Remember those of you calling for Leach’s head after the dreadful loss to Portland State last fall? Well he kept his job and proved all of his doubters wrong, posting a 9-4 season that included wins over No. 18 UCLA, Arizona, ASU, and Miami in the Sun Bowl. The successful 2015 campaign laid the blueprint for what we hope will be an even better 2016.

But what about the other eleven coaches in the Pac-12? All it takes is a disappointing loss or two before the finger gets pointed and the hot seat warms up. Our friends at USports.com look at three Pac-12 head coaches who are already on the hot seat.

Luckily, our dear Leach isn't one of them. Nor should he be.
