Washington State and the University of Idaho have come to an agreement to play a non-conference game at Martin Stadium on Sept. 19, 2020, according to a report from FBSchedules.com.
The Vandals, who will be dropping to the FCS level following the 2017 season, will receive a $550,000 guarantee for the game, according to a public records request cited in the report. For reference, Washington State will pay Montana State a $425,000 guarantee to open the 2017 season.
The Vandals are the first non-conference opponent added to the 2020 schedule for Washington State, who has already filled their non-conference slate through the 2019 season. Central Michigan, Wisconsin and Kansas State have also agreed to future non-conference games beyond the 2020 season.
